What Makes Hair Healthy?

Some may say it's how fast it grows, how much you have on your head or how long it is. It's all of these things and more. Let's break it down...

Remember hearing," you are what you eat." It's actually is true! Your hair reveals your food story. If you eat a lot of junk food, fast food and sugar laden foods = dry, brittle, easily breaking hair and usually a dehydrated scalp that usually is itchy and flaky. (May be thin and shedding)

If you are work out fanatic and take a lot of protein and not a lot of fat in your diet = strong hair strands, normal scalp as long as you wash out the sweat regularly.

If you eat pretty healthy overall, meaning you are balanced and not a lot of processed food/junk food = average hair growth and thickness, maybe a little bit of dryness of the scalp.

So, if you are thinking that a shampoo or oil can solve all of your hair issues or concerns ....please do not think that! It is also your water intake, how you are caring for your hair after you leave the salon /barbershop, genetics and your professional care of your strands.
